Fùcino is a corporate identity concept for the plain of Fucino, an agricultural area in the Abruzzo region of Italy, that I developed for a university project on business identity.
Basing my output on the visual and anthropological research I carried, through some historical, geographical and marketing analyses and on-site photo reportages, I sublimated the essence of the place and rearticulated it into a coordinated visual language. I tested at least 200 possibile logos, payoffs and claims, playing between literalism and abstraction, until I was satisfied with the result.

It's a symbol that impresses that what sprouts from a small unique soil such as Fùcino's soil spreads into international markets and covers seasonal needs left uncovered by other competitors. I chose a slab font for representing the logotype because I liked the idea of giving the feeling of solidity of having some serif elements mixing them with the “down-to-earthiness” of sans serifs.

The final outputs are stationery (business cards, letterheads, invoices) and promotionals (5 posters, 1 flyer, 1 banner, 1 app).
